Prudential Group Insurance has named Cathy Liston as the chief operating officer of disability business unit to oversee all disability claims and absence management, and related support functions.
Before joining the insurance company, Liston held various disability and leave management leadership roles during her 25 years of underwriting career.
Prior to Prudential Group Insurance, she worked as a vice president of disability and leave management at Aetna, and managed a team of 1,200 associates and disability and absence management operations in the country.
She was also responsible to oversee functional accountability for claims, sales support, customer loyalty, and information technology.
Prior to Aetna, she worked for 20 years in various roles with UNUM, including vice president of disability benefits, with nation-wide responsibility for multiple disability functions.
