Towergate Insurance has successfully completed the acquisition of insurance broker Speake Medley (Commercial Insurance) and Woodside Insurance Service's general insurance business.
CCV has also procured an additional 45% shareholding in Morgan Law, which brings its total shareholding to 85%.
Under the leadership of managing director John Simpson, Leeds-based Speake Medley will work jointly with Towergate's operation at Leeds Airport West, following the completion of acquisition.
Horsforth-based small general insurance broker Woodside Insurance Services, will also partner with Towergate based at Leeds Airport West.
Towergate Insurance Group CEO Mark Hodges said, "We completed 26 acquisitions in 2012, promoting the growth of our regional broking businesses and investing in the future of local face to face advice and risk management."
