Product details

Our proposal revolves around the comparison of US beer kegs and European beer kegs, commonly referred to as squatting kegs. The Euro beer barrel, typically a compact 5-liter retail barrel, tends to be fragile and cannot be readily reused after use.

With a capacity of approximately 7.75 gallons (around 30 liters) of beer, the North American variant of the bucket surpasses its counterparts in size. Its reusability and compatibility with bucket couplers make it a convenient option for tapping.

Size is the most important factor when considering Connie's keg and pony's keg. Moving oak barrels is easier due to their lighter weight, but sometimes five gallons might not be sufficient.

Color and Size

The beer barrel is typically a shiny silver color, although it can also come in black or yellow. There are three main types of beer barrels: national standard, American standard, and European standard. American standard beer barrels come in sizes of 5, 10, 15, 20 (1/6), 30 (1/4), and 60L (1/2). The 20L barrel is also called a 1/6 barrel, the 30L is called a 1/4 barrel, and the 60L is called a 1/2 barrel. The European standard beer barrel is shorter and wider and comes in sizes of 15, 20, 30, and 50L. German standard beer barrels are typically 30 or 60L.

Material

Typically, a beer barrel is crafted from high-quality food grade 304 stainless steel. To maintain the purity of the brew, it is important to use only the best materials. That's why this type of steel is the go-to choice for manufacturers seeking to create a durable and safe container for their beer. Whether you're a brewer looking to maintain your product's quality, or a beer enthusiast seeking the best possible taste, a steel barrel is the perfect solution. So raise a glass to quality, and enjoy your craft beer to the fullest!

Advantage

Isolation from the surrounding environment

To maintain the quality of wine during brushing, filling, and selling, it is imperative to maintain a sterile environment for the draft beer barrel. This can be achieved by isolating the barrel from the outside atmosphere, which helps in preventing the invasion of microbial organisms. The barrel is also filled with inert gas, even when it is empty, to ensure that CO2 loss is minimized and oxygen uptake is kept at the lowest possible level. This helps to maintain the freshness and flavor of the wine and ensures that customers get the best quality wine every time.

Sterility

After brushing, Cai Qi will also be used for sterilization, so as to ensure that the containers entering the filling process are absolutely sterile.

Long service life

From the perspective of packaging cost, is draught beer barrel the cheapest packaging form? 50% lower than tinned and 30% lower than bottled. The service life of a draught beer barrel is about 25 years, and the average turnover is 8 times per year: take a draught beer barrel packed with 50 liters as an example, it can be filled 200 times, that is, 10000 liters of beer.

Environmental protection

From the ecological point of view, the draft beer barrel is also better than tinned and bottled beer. This is because a draft beer barrel can be used about 200 times, while headphones can only be put on once? The bottle can be used up to 10 times. Reducing waste means reducing the damage to the environment.

Brushing of Draft Beer Barrel

The draught beer barrel is scrubbed at the scrubbing station. When brushing, the filling port faces down, and the washing liquid (water, alkali or acid) enters the inside of the draft beer barrel through the vertical pipe. The cleaning agent flows through the inner wall of the draft beer barrel at a high pressure, so that the inner surface can be fully scrubbed.

on the other hand?  The cleaning agent flows through the standpipe at a lower pressure, so that the standpipe is also fully brushed. This brushing method with different pressure is called "pulse jet". The pulse jet can ensure that the entire inner surface of the draft beer barrel is vigorously scrubbed to ensure its health and safety. After brushing, the draft beer barrel needs to be steam sterilized.

After that, clean: sterile draught beer barrels can be transported to the filling platform for filling At the beginning of filling, back pressure must be applied to the draft beer barrel, usually CO2, and then oil filling shall be carried out carefully. The back pressure gas will escape through the riser.
